Lake Seed is one of the cluster of Georgia Power Lakes in Northeast Georgia. The lakes in the cluster are Lake Burton, Lake Seed, Tululah Falls Lake,Lake Rabun,Lake Tugalo, and Lake Yonah. All of these lakes provide good paddling opportunities and you can spend several days tying to paddle all of them.

We paddled Lake Seed in early October 2011 and as you can see were too early for great fall colors. The paddle on the like is quiet. We didn't see any other boats on the lake--but then again in mid week in October we really wouldn't expect to.

The launch site for Lake Seed is along the road is limited to small boats. Parking is limited so there probably isn't a lot of use.

We really enjoyed the paddle here.
