Paddling Bogue Sound
In July 2012 we headed for our usual trip to the beach. This time we had Clem on top of the mini van because our garage was too full of stuff to get Nessie out. Instead of paddling on Taylor's Creek or any of the other places we normally paddle, we paddled on Bogue Sound.
Stumpy Point North Carolina 2012
The second installment of our January 2012 trip to Eastern North Carolina. It appears that Stumpy Point was hit by Hurricane Irene in 2011. Most of boats we saw there were badly damaged.
Lake Mattamuskeet, 2012
In January 2012 we drove the min van, Nessie had to stay home, to view the birds at Lake Mattamuskeet and some of the other wildlife refuges in Eastern North Carolina. Paddling Northeast Georgia
Last fall we took Nessie to the Northeast Mountains of Georgia for a week of paddling and hiking. We found time to paddle three wonderful lakes,

We took a short detour on a recent trip to Florida to visit the village of Saint Mary's Georgia. We didn't have much time there. But did enjoy the beautiful sunset.
